By Mark C. Rinaldi -- This is a list of what I perceive to be Isaiah’s ten worst basketball moves on the court during his tenure with the New York Knicks. I preferred to ONLY reference on court moves made by Zeke rather then talking about the revolving door of hall of fame coaches, the Anucha Browne Sanders case or his love affair with the Dolans. So please, please James Dolan don’t bring him back to Madison Square Garden, please.
By Mark C. Rinaldi -- The Lakers are showing why they are the best team in the NBA and the scary thing is they still aren’t even 100% healthy. Combine that with a 7 - 0 start, and that's good enough for the number one spot on our first NBA Power Rankings of the season. See where your favorite team stacks up by clicking below (and let us know what you agree/disagree with in the comments section)...
By Leslie Monteiro -- ESPN New York.com’s Ian O’Connor gets big names for his sports column. That is why he is always in demand from local newspapers or sports sites. O’Connor found another guy he can do a story on, and this one has people talking. Isiah Thomas knows O’Connor does not think much of him, but he used the sportswriter to get his point across in an interview Thursday afternoon. Thomas knows he is going to be running the Knicks. It will likely come next season. That’s why he is not shy to open up.
By Cooper L. Train -- So let me explain how this one went down. We follow the official New York Knicks twitter account, and we saw a tweet today that said: “I'm thankful to give back to an organization like the Knicks that I had the most success at." - John Starks …and then there was a link. So how excited were we, a reference to one of our favorite Knicks of all time, and a great excuse to name Starks our Mensch of the Week.
By Cooper L. Train -- In hopes of satisfying my sports-itch, I went over to ESPN.com this morning, where I discovered an article by Ian O’Connor that made me want to gouge my eyeballs out with a sharpie pen. The article, entitled “Exiled Isiah is itching for an encore,” is not recommended for those with a faint heart, pregnant, or a weak constitution. After browsing it several times, I started experiencing vertigo and other mind-numbing concussion symptoms. And after a slow and painful rexcovery, I can only conclude one thing. Isiah Thomas thinks that Prop 19 passed, because the guy is high as shit.
By Cooper L. Train, with commentary from Mark C. Rinaldi -- Let's just stop the speculation. There is officially ZERO chance Carmelo Anthony re-signs with the Denver Nuggets. It just isn't happening, and anyone who still thinks so must be smoking the same stuff as San Fran Giants fans. He has already begun to go into NFL Wide Receiver Diva Moda, as seen last night during a big win against the Utah Jazz (and the emotional return of head coach George Karl).
