February 14, 1951 – Birthday of former Yankee infielder Larry Milbourne who hit .462 in the 1981 ALCS.

February 14, 1964 – Rangers trade for Ron Ingram.

February 14, 1968 – Knicks play their 1st game at MSG # 4, beating San Diego 114-102.

February 14, 1969 – Birthday of Jets wide receiver Jeff Graham.

February 14, 1970 – Birthday of Mets catcher Kelly Stinnett.

February 14, 1988 – Ranger Marcel Dionne’s 2 goals moves him into 2nd place among the NHL all-time career goals scored with 719.

February 14, 2012 – It’s “Lin-Sane.”  Knicks guard Jeremy Lin hits a game winning shot as time expires in a 90-87 victory over Toronto.
